About the Role

Are you ready for a new challenge and to really take on an Advanced Practice role which puts patients at the heart of everything we do?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for the Acute Surgical Receiving Unit at Ninewells, a large teaching hospital in Dundee. The successful applicant will be a forward thinking, proactive nurse, who has experience in a relevant specialty at a senior level. You will have a passion for delivering exemplary care to all patients and for striving to push the boundaries of traditional roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a leadership role for a team of Nurse Practitioners whilst being an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide advanced clinical skills and decision making by assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing evidenced-based care for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed unscheduled surgical care needs.
  • Support to excel in your autonomous practice within a caring, responsive, and friendly team and organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
