Integrated Urgent Care Clinical Assessment Service (IUC CAS)

Partnering Health Group is a leading provider of integrated urgent and primary care services, delivering high-quality healthcare to communities across Staffordshire. Our services are designed around patients, ensuring they receive timely, safe and compassionate care whenever they need it.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) and Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) to join our Integrated Urgent Care Clinical Assessment Service (IUC CAS). If you’re passionate about delivering excellent patient care, enjoy working autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary team, and thrive in a fast-paced urgent care environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Location

Cannock Chase Hospital, County Hospital and Sir Robert Peel

Travel across Staffordshire will be required to support our Face-to-Face and Home Visiting services when needed.

The Role

Working within our Out of Hours Clinical Assessment Service, you’ll provide expert clinical assessment and decision-making for patients accessing urgent care. Through remote consultations and, where required, face-to-face assessments or home visits, you’ll ensure patients receive the right care, first time.

You’ll use your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe independently, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider health system.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assess, diagnose and manage patients of all ages presenting with urgent, acute and long-term conditions.
  • Deliver high-quality telephone and digital consultations.
  • Prescribe safely within your scope of practice.
  • Refer patients appropriately across primary, community, secondary and emergency care services.
  • Recognise deteriorating patients and initiate emergency treatment where required.
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and act in line with local and national guidance.
  • Provide clear safety-netting, discharge advice and follow-up plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and work within professional and clinical governance standards.
  • Support service quality, patient safety and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
