This is an exciting new post based within the North Wales Cancer treatment center as Advanced Nurse Practitioner working with patients with a diagnosis of lung cancer including supporting the Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR) service. The ANP will be instrumental in the delivery of the lung and SABR service working within a multi-disciplinary team.
The ANP will be autonomous and innovative, working at an advanced level and have their own caseload of patients.
Our perfect candidate will be a highly experienced nurse with advanced skills, have a breadth of experience within cancer and/or oncology specifically caring for patients with lung disease. They will be passionate about delivering high quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
Main duties of the job
- Work at an advanced level of clinical practice
- Undertake nurse-led clinics
- Prescribe medications
- Deliver evidence-based care to patients undergoing cancer treatments to include SABR

Essential Criteria
- Registered Nurse with Oncology/Cancer experience
- Substantial experience within a clinical role
- Undertaking or willing to undertake Academic study to MSc in the next 2 years
Essential
- Willing to travel across North Wales
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of working as a CNS or ANP
