Role Description
Bluestones Medical is currently seeking experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners to support a range of established GP Practices and Out-of-Hours hubs across London.
We have multiple practices and Out-of-Hours hubs across Greater London, offering flexible locum opportunities with regular shift availability and potential for ongoing assignments.

Immediate availability is ideal, although we can accommodate a range of availability depending on service requirements.
Duties may include:
- Autonomous assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with acute and minor illness
- Assessment and management of long-term conditions within your scope of practice
- Clinical examination and differential diagnosis
- Requesting and interpreting investigations within the scope of practice
- Independent prescribing and safe medicines management
- Appropriate referral, escalation, and safety-netting
- Accurate and contemporaneous clinical documentation
- Working effectively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Supporting patient care across General Practice and Out-of-Hours services
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner or equivalent Advanced Clinical Practice qualification
- Independent prescribing qualification
- Recent autonomous clinical experience within General Practice, Urgent Treatment Centres, or Out-of-Hours services
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
- Confidence managing undifferentiated presentations
- Ability to work autonomously within your professional scope of practice
- Current mandatory training and clinical governance compliance
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work across different London locations where required

Experience using either EMIS, SystmOne, or Adastra would be advantageous, as would experience across General Practice, Urgent Treatment Centres, walk-in centres, or Out-of-Hours services.
