Advanced Podiatrist in MSK and Orthopaedics (Ref: 250172)

Substantive

Full Time - 36 hours per week

Band 7 - Salary Range £52,845 to £61,466 per annum

Distant Island Allowance of £2,578 per annum

A Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 is also available


We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Podiatrist to join our small team providing podiatric interventions to the population of Shetland.

The post is based at Lerwick health centre, with other clinics held at the Gilbert Bain hospital, Independent Living Centre (ILC), outlying health centres, domiciliary visits and care homes.

As the Advanced Podiatrist for MSK and Orthopaedics you will coordinate, develop and lead this service as well as providing high quality care in general podiatry. The post holder will also have the opportunity to work in specialist clinics, namely nail surgery, diabetes and wound care. The post holder will propose and implement policy and service developments, be the source of information, advice and education to both the podiatry team and other health and social care staff.
