Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - CT Surgery - Grand Junction, CO

About this role
As an Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic (CT) surgery you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
- You will practice at our CT Surgery Clinic and St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO
- You will be on a PRN schedule that will be discussed with you upon hire
- Assist surgeons in performing procedures during surgery
- Perform Radial Artery and Saphenous vein harvesting
- Place Foley catheters and invasive lines
- Discharge Same Day or PACU patients
- Daily team rounding
- Clinic responsibilities include new H&P and surgical follow ups
- Q3 call includes rounding on weekends during call and being first call for the nursing floor
How we'll support you
- Compensation: Our compensation consists of a base salary plus call pay. The salary is calculated on years of experience and can range from $125,000 - $193,000.

What you’ll bring
- PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist PA or NP required – NO NEW GRADS
- 1 year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH
- Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $63.07 - $97.30
