Your Role

As our Advanced Practitioner for CEIAG and Employer Engagement, you will lead an outstanding careers provision aligned with Gatsby Benchmark. You will act as a strategic bridge between education, local employers, and communities to ensure our curriculum meets regional labour market needs. Key duties include:

  • Building strong employer partnerships to secure meaningful industry projects and work placements
  • Providing impartial careers guidance to learners
  • Delivering tailored outreach and targeted interventions to help disadvantaged and underrepresented learners overcome complex barriers and progress into sustained employment

About You

We are looking for a proactive, innovative professional passionate about improving life chances through an empathetic, learner-centred approach. You will bring experience of CEIAG frameworks and regional labour market information. You must hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance, alongside English and maths at Level 2.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Extensive experience in employer-led partnership development
  • Skills in navigating complex socio-economic barriers with diverse, underrepresented communities
  • Confident communication skills
  • Analytical skills needed to track impact data and influence collaborative teams
  • A commitment to championing our core Council values
