Our MASH service is the gateway to Early Help and Children’s Social Care in Wandsworth. We are a co-located team, working closely with professionals from Police, Health, Education, IDVA Services and Housing. Specialists in Substance Misuse, NRPF (No Recourse to Public Funds) and Special Educational Needs are part of our dedicated team, ensuring every child and family receives the tailored support they need.

About The Role

Working alongside fellow Advanced Practitioners and the MASH Team Manager, you will lead and support practitioners, ensuring that children and young people access the right services at the right time.

Essential Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- A qualified and professionally registered Social Worker with Social Work England with successful completion of your ASYE.
- Have a thorough understanding of current legislation and the London Safeguarding Children Procedure and Practice Guidance and be committed to relational practice.
- Ability to provide clear, supportive and appropriate consultation to partners about referrals they have made to the MASH.
- Respectful and able to support and challenge agencies across the partnership to ensure the practice in the MASH is timely and supports our vision, values and culture of quality.
- Ability to work with your colleagues in the MASH and be part of our improvement plan to create an outstanding service for children and young people in Wandsworth.
- Experience of supervising students and or other practitioners.
