Adoption East Midlands is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our Recruitment, Assessment and Family service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social work practitioner to develop their career, influence practice and help shape the continued development of our regional adoption service.
Working across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, you will provide practice leadership, reflective supervision and coaching to social workers, supporting high-quality, strengths-based practice. You will play a key role in driving performance, providing quality assurance and supporting staff to achieve positive outcomes for children and adoptive families and support them in their adoption journey.

We are looking for an experienced and confident practitioner with strong knowledge of adoption, developmental trauma and therapeutic parenting, who can bring creativity, professional curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement.

You will be a Social Work England registered Social Worker, with relevant post-qualifying experience in adoption and the ability to inspire and develop others.
