Laing O'Rourke is looking for experienced Advanced Scaffolders to join our team on the M42 Box HS2 Project in Birmingham.
As part of our directly employed workforce, you'll contribute to one of the UK's most important infrastructure projects whilst benefiting from excellent training, development and long-term career opportunities. With an £8 billion pipeline of work, now is the perfect time to join us.

Key Duties
- Load and unload scaffolding materials on site.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
- Install ladders, walkways and handrails.
- Fix guardrails and safety netting.
- Erect scaffolding around formwork and shuttering used for concrete structures.
- Carry out scaffold inspections in line with industry standards.
- Follow approved safe working methods and site procedures at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Advanced Scaffold Inspection experience.
- Proven knowledge and skill as an Advanced Scaffolder.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely.
- Able to perform routine manual labour tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and supervise Scaffold Labourers and Trainees.
- Happy working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to work safely at height and in confined spaces when required.
Essential Qualifications
- CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Tube & Fitting
- Advanced Scaffold Inspection
