Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled full stack Software Engineer with deep expertise in .NET development and data-driven applications to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions that support Agilent's scientific instruments, laboratory management systems, and business intelligence initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience working with large and complex datasets. You will leverage modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and analytics tools to build scalable applications, data pipelines, and dashboards that drive informed business decisions and deliver value to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using.NET Core/.NET Framework and AWS services.
- Build scalable and secure APIs, backend services, and data-driven applications.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Analyze, process, and manage large and complex datasets from multiple data sources.
- Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and integrations that ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Leverage modern data platforms and analytics solutions to generate actionable business insights and support organizational objectives.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and cloud-native development practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, data issues, and production incidents.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#,.NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Strong experience designing and developing data-centric applications.
- Experience with enterprise databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with ETL and data integration tools such as SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar technologies.
- Experience building and maintaining reporting solutions using SSRS, Power BI, QuickSight, or comparable analytics platforms.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, and cloud-based data solutions.
- Proficiency with modern web development frameworks.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented design, and best practices.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture and domain-driven design.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with NGRX, RxJS, NX, and Micro-Frontend architectures.
- Exposure to machine learning, predictive analytics, or AI-driven solutions. Familiarity with AI assisted coding is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $116,800.00 - $219,000.00/yr USD in the US, or $91,661.00 - $161,700.00/yr CAD in Canada, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
