I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we'll look for in you
- You’ll bring a solid understanding of different marketing channels, and ideally, you’ll know your way around the creative, design, and production process too. You don’t need to be a designer yourself, but you’ll know what good looks like and how to get there.
- You’ve got a sharp eye for detail and take pride in making sure everything is spot on. You’re someone who naturally acts as a brand guardian, keeping things consistent and true to who we are.
- You’ll be confident working with stakeholders across the business, knowing when to listen, when to challenge, and how to keep things moving. Planning and prioritising come naturally to you, even when things get busy.
- And if you’re comfortable with numbers, even better. You’ll be managing sizeable budgets, so being able to keep a close eye on spend and spot opportunities to optimise is a big plus.
