This is a fantastic opportunity for an established salesperson/team leader to join a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment in media and publishing…(Independent Publishing Company).

We are looking for sales professionals – Advertising Sales Managers in the West Midlands area, especially in Wolverhampton and the surrounding area with a proven background in advertising sales, to join a progressive company and expand the advertising network.

Who We Are Looking For

The successful Advertising Sales Manager will have a proven track record in a sales industry, especially print media/advertising sales, with at least 5 years of advertising sales manager experience in print media REQUIRED! It is advantageous if the Advertising Sales Manager has worked in the field of printed magazines and publications for the last 3 years!

You Will Be Responsible For The Followings

The most important key responsibility for the Advertising Sales Manager is to build, develop, manage, and mentor the Advertising Sales Executive Team.

  • Develop and maintain sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure effective training and recruitment processes continuously…(Advertising Sales Executive Team).
  • Mentoring and coaching the Advertising Sales Executive Team to a high standard and ensuring reports any performance to the Sales Director.
  • Create sales and marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Oversee all marketing and sales advertising and promotional activities.
  • Undertake market research on competitors, market trends, and brand awareness.
  • Co-ordinate individual plans with management and lead of departments to ensure effective results.
  • Develop and create ideas to increase sales.
  • Determine sales forecast and present figures to the management.
  • Plan the advertising account activities, including identifying customers, managing resources, and setting deadlines.
  • The Advertising Sales Manager will be responsible for sales, retention, and developing existing and new accounts.
  • The Advertising Sales Manager will directly hire and evaluate the sales team members (Advertising Sales Executives).
  • Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with advertisers.
  • Ensure the department meets quota and organizational objectives.
