Role Description
The Advertising Specialist is a remote, contract role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns for GolfScotland.NET and its partners. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to refine messaging, align campaigns with marketing objectives, and ensure consistent brand representation. The Advertising Specialist also:
- Prepares regular performance reports
- Identifies opportunities for growth
- Recommends new tactics to improve reach, engagement, and return on ad spend
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and data analysis abilities to interpret campaign metrics and optimize performance.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and presenting campaign results.
- Marketing and sales skills to develop compelling advertising strategies that support revenue and audience growth.
- Experience with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) and audience targeting tools.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and basic understanding of conversion tracking.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple campaigns, and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in online advertising, media buying, or digital marketing; experience in sports or tourism is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
