Technical Solutions Consultant – Contract
Location: UK – Remote
Contract: 12 months
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm (40 hours/week)
Contract Type: PAYE
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Solutions Consultant to join a technical support team supporting some of the world’s largest advertisers and brands.
You will act as a technical point of contact for clients and internal sales teams, helping troubleshoot technical issues, provide guidance on advertising technologies, and work closely with product and engineering teams to drive issues through to resolution.
This is a client-facing role that combines technical troubleshooting, digital advertising knowledge, problem-solving and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and consultative guidance on digital advertising products and technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues raised by advertisers and internal Sales teams.
- Investigate issues end-to-end, identify root causes and determine appropriate solutions.
- Research internal documentation and reproduce issues where required to isolate problems.
- Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Escalate potential product or technical bugs to Product and Engineering teams and support resolution.
- Manage multiple support cases simultaneously while prioritising urgent or business-critical issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve, optimise and automate support workflows and processes.
- Ensure a high-quality customer experience and meet agreed support SLAs.

Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in digital advertising, online marketing technologies and/or the technology industry.
- Experience working with online advertising technologies such as pixels, ad servers, auctions and delivery.
- Previous experience within an advertising platform, ad agency, advertiser or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of core online advertising concepts and the wider digital advertising ecosystem.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to systematically investigate technical issues.
- Comfortable discussing technical topics with developers and software engineers.
- Understanding of APIs and the ability to troubleshoot basic API-related issues.
- Ability to understand and debug basic code.
- Experience working with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and HTTP.
- Experience with SQL and RESTful APIs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Experience supporting large advertisers or enterprise clients.
What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day
- Handle approximately 3 new technical cases per day.
- Work across multiple cases and topics simultaneously.
- Investigate advertiser-reported technical issues and identify appropriate solutions.
- Liaise with Sales teams and, where required, communicate directly with advertisers through email or calls.
- Provide clear resolution steps once an issue has been diagnosed.
- Escalate issues that fall outside the team's scope to the appropriate internal team.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will be technically confident, commercially aware and comfortable operating in an environment where issues can be varied and sometimes ambiguous.
You should be able to demonstrate a structured approach to troubleshooting, strong prioritisation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
