Contract type: Fixed Term - 12 months

Location: Plymouth

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 8th July 2026

We’re currently looking for an Advice Review Specialist to join our team, playing a key role in supporting our Advice function and strengthening our first line of defence.

In this role, you’ll review client case files to assess the suitability of advice provided, ensuring alignment with FCA standards and Consumer Duty principles. You’ll work closely with advisers and the Compliance team, providing clear and constructive feedback while helping to identify and manage any potential risks.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a detailed, quality-focused environment and wants to make a real impact on customer outcomes.

About The Role

  • Review client case files in line with FCA guidance
  • Assess the suitability and quality of advice provided
  • Identify risks or areas of concern within advice cases
  • Work collaboratively with Compliance on any issues identified
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to advisers
  • Manage your own caseload and ensure timely completion of reviews
  • Sign off completed files and follow through on any required remedial actions

About You

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working in a regulated environment.

You will ideally have:

  • CeMAP & CeRER qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive and organised approach to work
  • Good IT skills

Location in or near Plymouth would be advantageous.
