Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
As Advisor to the Presidential Team (President, President Elect and Senior Vice President), you will support the planning and delivery of a high-impact engagement programme for the Presidential Team, helping to advance RICS’ strategic goals through effective stakeholder engagement, events, communications and relationship management. Working closely with the Chief of Staff and Presidential Team, you will ensure activities are well planned, professionally delivered and aligned to organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and delivery of the Presidential Team engagement programme, including induction and onboarding for new presidential team members.
- Maintain a cross-organisational forward look of planned activities and engagements, ensuring effective coordination and prioritisation.
- Lead the planning and delivery of Presidential Team and senior leader attendance at events, including briefings, speeches, media support, social content and follow-up actions.
- Work with the Presidential Team Executive Assistant to coordinate correspondence, ensuring timely, professional and effective responses to members and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across RICS and with external stakeholders, ensuring the Presidential Team is well supported and informed.
- Deputise for the Chief of Staff when required, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for the Presidential Team.

About You
You are a highly organised and politically aware professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are confident working with senior stakeholders, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality support across a broad range of activities and engagements.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and messaging for different audiences and channels.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders and external partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive, adaptable and solution-focused approach to problem solving in complex environments.
- Strong collaborative skills, comfortable working across matrixed teams and switching between leadership and support roles as required.
- Interest in current affairs, public policy and issues affecting the built and natural environment, with the ability to quickly understand emerging topics and stakeholder priorities.
