Advisory Associate, ISP Global Advisory

Every mandate starts with someone who found it first.

The opportunity in front of you

Most companies raising capital get one shot at pricing it right. Too early, and they undersell the business. Too late, and they arrive at committee without a story that survives contact with a sceptical investor. Corporate finance advisory exists for that one shot. The firms that do it well shape some of the most consequential decisions a growing company will ever make.

That's the work. Technical, relationship-driven, and unforgiving of people who can't hold their own in a room with a founder on one side and a venture partner on the other.

Who we are

ISP Global Advisory is a boutique advisory firm in the heart of Mayfair. We work with a deliberately small number of growth-stage companies on capital raising, valuation, and investor readiness, and we turn down most of the mandates we're offered. Founder-led, and built on one idea: the advice a company gets before it raises money matters as much as the money itself.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we do

  • Capital raising strategy: the positioning and valuation case that gets a raise done right, not just done fast
  • Investor readiness: we stress-test a business before an investor gets the chance to
  • Investor introductions: a live, curated network of funds by sector, stage and cheque size
  • Full-phase delivery: one point of contact, first call to committee

Why now

We're growing deliberately, not by accident. We're expanding the structured team around our founder core, and this role sits right at the front of it. Nothing reaches the rest of the firm until it has passed through this desk.

The role: Advisory Associate

You are the front end of everything we do. You find the companies worth talking to, you know why they're a fit before you make contact, and you make the approach. When a prospect is ready to talk, you hand over a complete file (financials, deck, and a real conversation) to the team who takes it from there.

You will:

  • Source and research prospective clients across our target sectors
  • Make first contact and build the relationship until they're asking to meet us
  • Collect financials and a pitch deck before any file moves forward
  • Keep the pipeline clean and current: this is a role built on process as much as instinct

What we're looking for

  • Prior experience in deal sourcing or business development, ideally within finance, professional services, or a related commercial sector
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and independent research
  • Persistent: this is a volume role, not a role of instant wins
  • Strong written English
  • Naturally organised

Compensation

£36,000 base salary, plus £250 for every client who goes on to engage us. Private medical insurance from day one. Based in Hanover Square, Mayfair.
