Rowvar Ltd Advisory Board Recruitment

Rowvar Ltd is a UK technology company working across artificial intelligence, software, process automation and applied research.

We are seeking experienced professionals, including university professors, academic leaders and industry specialists, to join our Advisory Board and help shape our strategic direction, strengthen partnerships and support sustainable growth.

We are recruiting a separate adviser for each specialist area below. Applicants are not expected to have expertise in every area.

Advisory Areas

  • AI Development & Technology
    • Advise on AI product development, technical strategy, automation and the practical application of technology to business challenges. Help assess opportunities and guide the development of commercially relevant solutions.
  • Research, Innovation & University Partnerships
    • Support research priorities, university collaborations, joint research projects and the commercial application of research.
    • We particularly welcome university professors, senior academics and research leaders with expertise in AI, computer science, engineering, digital transformation or related disciplines.
  • AI Training & Skills Development
    • Guide the development of AI training programmes, executive education and workforce development services for businesses, professionals and public-sector organisations. Help strengthen curriculum design and collaboration with universities and training providers.
  • Government Contracts & Public-Sector Procurement
    • Advise on procurement frameworks, relevant contract opportunities, tender readiness and bid strategy. Help strengthen Rowvar’s understanding of public-sector needs and purchasing processes.
  • Grants & Innovation Funding
    • Help identify suitable grants and funding programmes, strengthen application strategies and develop partnerships for funded research and innovation projects.
  • AI Governance & Public Policy
    • Advise on responsible AI, governance frameworks and policy engagement. Support Rowvar’s contribution to relevant industry discussions and the development of practical governance approaches.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Industry Engagement
    • Help build commercial and institutional partnerships, strengthen professional relationships and increase Rowvar’s visibility among relevant customers, universities and industry networks.

Your Contribution

Working with Rowvar’s leadership team, you will:

  • Provide strategic advice within your specialist area.
  • Offer independent judgement and constructive challenge.
  • Identify relevant opportunities, partnerships and risks.
  • Review selected proposals, plans and initiatives.
  • Make appropriate professional introductions where relevant.
  • Participate in agreed advisory meetings and follow-up discussions.

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome applications from university professors, academic leaders, researchers, experienced executives, founders, educators, procurement specialists, funding professionals and governance or policy leaders.

  • Availability to make a consistent contribution.
  • Previous board or advisory experience is welcome but not essential, as long as you can demonstrate relevant expertise and strategic insight.
