Role Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Origination Team, Distribution Team, Client Implementation Team, and other members of the Structuring Team to support origination and distribution activities, while autonomously leading the execution of factoring and invoice discounting transactions. The role also involves supporting and advising clients in accordance with agreed service commitments.
Main Duties
Working in full cooperation with the Corporate Origination Team and Distribution Team, responsibilities include:
Prior to Transaction Mandate
- Support the Corporate Origination Team in developing factoring and invoice discounting solutions that can be delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
- Request, collect, and analyze information, working alongside the Structuring & Execution Team to prepare and review high-quality client and funder documentation, including teasers, Q&A documents, and presentations.
- Prepare and review deal memoranda, pricing proposals, and engagement letters.
Transaction Execution
- Lead the execution of factoring and invoice discounting transactions.
- Facilitate communication and understanding between funders, corporates, and other stakeholders, including credit insurers, legal advisers, and other third parties.
- Analyze corporate and portfolio information received during the transaction process.
- Review legal documentation and provide advice to clients.
- Work alongside project managers and the Client Implementation Team to ensure all operational and reporting requirements are delivered in line with agreed timelines.
- Support post-execution development opportunities and resolution of any issues that arise.
- Provide clear oral and written recommendations to clients and senior management.

Additional Responsibilities
- Share factoring and invoice discounting knowledge and market insights across the Structuring & Distribution Team, Origination Team, wider business, and FIS Group.
- Identify profitable transaction opportunities to maximize revenue for Demica.
- Maintain effective cost control and accurate time tracking.
- Support and contribute to a strong culture of compliance.
- Contribute positively to the working environment.
Secondary Duties
- Generate transaction opportunities in partnership with the Corporate Origination Team.
- Attend industry conferences relating to factoring and invoice discounting.
- Support the Head of Structuring & Distribution on designated projects and initiatives.
KPIs / Performance Goals
- Maximise client satisfaction.
- Deliver services to clients and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Ensure a high level of quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Keep expenses within approved budgets and in line with Demica policies.
- Demonstrate effective time management across multiple projects.
- Maintain full compliance with Demica policies and procedures.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration.
- A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a CFA qualification will be viewed favourably.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in receivables finance.
- At least 5 years' experience leading the execution of cross-border factoring and/or invoice discounting transactions.
- Strong knowledge of factoring, invoice discounting, and credit insurance solutions.
- Experience in financial modelling and data management.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to produce highly professional documentation.
