AEM Sites Technical Architect – Contract – London (Hybrid)
Location: London
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 days WFO/week
Contract Duration: 6 months
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced AEM Sites Technical Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale digital experience platforms. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives on architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing AEM solutions while mentoring development teams.
Experience Required
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 6+ years specifically in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise-scale AEM Sites solutions and digital experience platforms
- Lead AEM implementation, migration, and modernization initiatives
- Define scalable, secure, and high-performing AEM architecture
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, including design and code reviews
- Design reusable components, templates, Experience Fragments, and Content Fragments
- Drive integrations with Adobe Experience Cloud products and third-party systems
- Define CI/CD, deployment, and DevOps best practices using Cloud Manager
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and governance
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and client architects

- Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) exposure preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AEM Cloud migrations and content modernization
- Knowledge of AEM Assets, Adobe Analytics, AEP, AJO, and wider Adobe ecosystem integrations
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills
- Adobe AEM Architect/Developer certifications preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities
- Ability to lead multiple projects and mentor technical teams
