About Us
We are a high-performance Formula One Team driven by innovation, precision, and passion. Our Aerodynamics department is responsible for delivering performance through the development and optimisation of aerodynamic concepts, using a combination of simulation tools and experimental testing. The Aero Production Systems team plays a vital role in ensuring aerodynamic development programmes run efficiently, supporting the operational processes, workflows, and systems that enable the rapid delivery of aerodynamic components and test activities.
As an Aero Production Systems Student Placement, you'll gain hands-on experience working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and project coordination, helping to support the smooth execution of aerodynamic development programmes in one of the most demanding environments in motorsport.
The Role
During the placement, you will support the operational activities that underpin aerodynamic development. Working closely with a range of departments, you'll help coordinate activities, monitor progress, analyse performance metrics, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
You'll gain exposure to the processes that support the delivery of wind tunnel models, aerodynamic test components, and development programmes, helping ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
