We are the Audi Revolut F1® Team

Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026.

The team is based in three locations:

  • The power unit is developed by Audi Formula Racing GmbH at the Audi Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg, Germany;
  • The chassis is engineered and race operations are managed from the state-of-the-art facilities of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland;
  • The Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester, United Kingdom, provides a foothold in the heart of 'Motorsport Valley', with direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners.

We are seeking an experienced Senior FEM Structural Analysis Engineer to join our high-performance Structural Design and Analysis department and play a key role in the development of cutting-edge Formula 1 car components.

This position for the Audi Revolut F1® Team is based at Audi Motorsport Technology Centre in Bicester, UK

Why Join Us?

Your mission

  • Be the member of a team of engineers and data scientists to develop, create and improve software for efficient aerodynamic analysis.
  • Design and implementation of desktop and web applications to present data from different sources, with a focus on CFD data.
  • Contribute to the redesign and optimization of the backend used to process and serve CFD data.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of efficient workflows for CFD post-processing.
  • Work closely with aerodynamic engineers to improve the ease of understanding complex data.
  • Contribute to set future directions and trends in data analysis and data visualization.
  • Work on the look and feel of the user interface in terms of presentation and interaction with the data from a wide range of engineering data sources.
  • Design and produce high performance and well-designed data access tools and APIs to be used by other existing systems.
  • Design, code, test, release, and maintenance of data analysis applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in software design and data science.
  • Optimization of the backend used to process and serve CFD data.
  • Improve the look and feel of the user interface in terms of presentation and interaction with the CFD data.

Your profile

  • Master`s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
  • At least 3 years professional experience as software developer.
  • Experience with data organization and repository creation using appropriate database and file technologies.
  • Experience working on complex projects.
  • Proved programming skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with working in a Linux environment.
  • Software release, update and deployment techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of PyQt technology and deployment to Windows/Linux OS.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies (Django an advantage)
  • Familiarity with VTK, ParaView and/or PyVista.
  • Knowledge of containerized development and deployment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with scientific data visualization, especially 3D data.
  • Knowledge of containerized deployment on Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with HPC environments.
  • Data science techniques and methodologies.
