Role: Aerodynamics Engineer (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $80 - $100/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Aerodynamics Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves analyzing and optimizing aerodynamic performance for high-precision applications. You will contribute to projects requiring advanced computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct aerodynamic analyses to evaluate lift, drag, and stability characteristics of designs.
- Develop and refine aerodynamic models using computational tools and simulation software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate aerodynamic improvements into product development.
- Perform validation tests to ensure alignment with performance specifications and regulatory standards.
- Document findings and present recommendations to stakeholders for implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or similar tools.
- Experience with wind tunnel testing and data interpretation for aerodynamic validation.
- Strong background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, or aeronautical engineering.
- Ability to analyze pressure distributions, flow patterns, and aerodynamic efficiency metrics.
- Familiarity with CAD tools like SolidWorks or CATIA for geometry preparation and modification.
