Position: Aerospace CAD Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40 - $80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author objective, multi-part questions about aerospace assemblies requiring exact, technical answers.
- Review FreeCAD files to analyze and understand complex mechanical assemblies.
- Develop high-quality questions per assembly, covering key features and relationships between parts.
- Deliver clear, well-researched answers with reference to assembly data.
- Collaborate to clarify requirements and ensure technical accuracy.
- Maintain a standards-driven approach for comprehensive, relevant, and program-agnostic questions and answers.
- Contribute to documentation and feedback processes to improve future question sets and workflows.

Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or industrial design with a strong foundation in CAD principles.
- Hands-on experience with multi-part CAD assemblies and ability to interpret complex design intent and technical drawings.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with FreeCAD or similar CAD platforms.
- Proven ability to author precise technical questions and answers in an educational or documentation context.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality, objective content.
