About The Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Aerospace Project Manager to lead complex projects within their engineering division in Oxford. This hybrid role requires you to oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring successful delivery of innovative aerospace solutions. This is a challenging yet rewarding position for a leader passionate about driving engineering excellence and delivering high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasting.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all project activities comply with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the aerospace or a closely related engineering industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with budget management, risk assessment, and resource planning.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
