The role:
Thoughtmix is a fast growing, award winning, affiliate marketing agency, specialising in partnerships, covering influencers, affiliates, and brand to brand collaborations. We work closely with digital marketing teams at over 100 retailers and brands to achieve profitable revenue growth from their affiliate marketing programs.
We’re a growing business with big ambitions and we’re on the lookout for an additional Account Manager to strengthen the team and support our client base to help them implement and/or grow their partner marketing activity.
Ideally you’ll already have some experience working in affiliate/partner marketing either for an agency, network or client side and you’ll have some experience managing clients and their digital marketing campaigns. You’ll be looking for the next step where you can develop your client management skills in a supportive environment alongside a small, successful team of established Client Managers/Directors and you’ll be the face of Thoughtmix to around 10-15 existing clients.
You will lead the service delivery to the client, managing their affiliate marketing campaigns, budget and most importantly, the client relationship. Your main responsibilities will be around delivery of pre-agreed affiliate objectives working alongside the Client Services Manager and the Client Services team to meet and exceed their expectations and deliver ROI.
This role is ideal for someone that’s already working within affiliate marketing who would like to progress within a specialist agency environment, but we’ll also consider applications from agency marketing executives with strong client management skills that are willing to learn about this growing sector quickly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
