Affiliate Partnerships Manager
About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing international payments and financial services business working with a network of affiliate and referral partners, including accountants, brokers, consultancies and industry specialists. This role combines affiliate account management with new partner onboarding. You will manage and grow an existing portfolio of affiliates while also acting as the main point of contact for new partners and the customer referrals they generate. You will be involved throughout the affiliate lifecycle: from signing and onboarding a new partner, through to their first referral and ultimately the conversion of that referral into a customer. The role requires strong commercial awareness and the ability to assess different types of customer and referral. Some affiliates and their clients operate in complex industries or across less familiar jurisdictions, so you will need to understand when a referral requires additional consideration and set the right expectations from the outset. You will not own the sales process itself. Once a referred customer has been qualified, the relevant sales team will take over. You will remain responsible for the affiliate relationship and ensuring that referrals are followed through without being lost. As the affiliate programme continues to grow, there will be opportunities for the scope and seniority of the role to develop.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
