Affiliate & Rewards Coordinator
The Affiliate & Rewards Coordinator will support the day-to-day management, development, and growth of the organisation's affiliate and rewards programme. The role will involve managing existing partnerships, identifying and onboarding new brand partners, maintaining accurate programme information, monitoring performance, and supporting initiatives designed to improve user engagement and commercial value.
The role will work closely with external brands, affiliate networks, and internal stakeholders to ensure the rewards programme remains relevant, competitive, well-managed, and aligned with wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Affiliate & Brand Partnership Management
- Research and identify suitable brands and organisations that could strengthen the rewards proposition.
- Proactively approach prospective partners and introduce the benefits of working with the organisation.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective brand partners.
- Communicate with affiliate networks and partnership platforms to identify new opportunities.
- Support negotiations with prospective partners regarding offers, incentives, commercial terms, and promotional arrangements.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new partners from initial contact through to launch.
- Maintain regular communication with partners to ensure agreed activities and deliverables are being met.
- Review existing partnerships and identify opportunities to improve, expand, or refresh the relationship.
- Maintain accurate records of partner contacts, agreements, offers, activity, and key dates.
- Ensure partner relationships are managed professionally and in line with internal processes.
Rewards Programme Management
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the rewards programme.
- Ensure rewards and offers remain relevant, competitive, and attractive to users.
- Regularly review existing offers and identify those requiring renewal, amendment, or removal.
- Coordinate the introduction of new rewards and promotional offers.
- Monitor live reward content and identify broken links, expired offers, or inaccurate information.
- Work with relevant internal teams to ensure changes are implemented correctly and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain a structured and accurate rewards tracker.
- Ensure programme records and supporting documentation are kept up to date.
Partner Acquisition & Business Development
- Maintain an ongoing pipeline of potential brand and affiliate partners.
- Conduct research into relevant brands, products, services, and market opportunities.
- Identify brands that align with the organisation's audience and digital safety proposition.
- Develop outreach strategies to increase the number and quality of available rewards.
- Make initial contact with potential partners through appropriate channels.
- Follow up with prospective partners and maintain accurate records of engagement.
- Identify opportunities to secure exclusive, enhanced, or particularly valuable offers.
- Support the development of longer-term commercial relationships with high-performing partners.
- Monitor the wider rewards and affiliate market to identify emerging opportunities.
Affiliate Programme Management
- Manage relationships with relevant affiliate networks and platforms.
- Monitor affiliate links and ensure they remain operational.
- Ensure affiliate tracking information is accurate and functioning correctly.
- Monitor affiliate activity and identify potential issues.
- Maintain records of affiliate programmes, commission structures, offers, and key terms.
- Liaise with affiliate networks where clarification, technical support, or changes are required.
- Identify opportunities to improve affiliate performance and programme coverage.
- Support the implementation of new affiliate programmes and partnerships

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor the performance of individual rewards, partners, and affiliate campaigns.
- Track key performance indicators such as engagement, usage, conversions, and commercial return where applicable.
- Maintain accurate performance records and reporting dashboards.
- Produce regular reports and updates for internal stakeholders.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and underperforming areas within the programme.
- Provide recommendations based on performance data.
- Support analysis of the cost, value, and effectiveness of different rewards and partnerships.
- Assist with evaluating the return on investment of the rewards programme.
- Ensure management information is accurate, timely, and presented clearly.
User Engagement & Programme Development
- Monitor user engagement with the rewards programme and identify opportunities to improve participation.
- Review feedback, usage data, and market trends when considering new rewards.
- Ensure the rewards proposition remains relevant to the target audience.
- Identify opportunities to improve the presentation and accessibility of rewards.
- Work with internal teams to support promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Recommend new reward categories, brands, or offers based on user needs and programme performance.
- Contribute ideas to improve user retention and engagement through the rewards proposition.
- Support the continued development and evolution of the rewards ecosystem.
Stakeholder Management
- Develop effective working relationships with internal teams involved in the rewards programme.
- Provide regular updates on partner activity, new opportunities, and programme performance.
- Communicate issues, risks, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate information between external partners and internal teams.
- Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of significant changes to rewards, partnerships, or programme activity.
- Work collaboratively to resolve operational or partnership issues.
- Represent the organisation professionally when dealing with external partners.
Governance, Compliance & Administration
- Maintain accurate and auditable records relating to the rewards and affiliate programme.
- Ensure agreed processes and governance requirements are followed.
- Monitor partner agreements, renewal dates, offer expiry dates, and other key deadlines.
- Ensure relevant documentation is appropriately stored and maintained.
- Escalate potential risks, issues, or compliance concerns to the appropriate person.
- Ensure changes to reward content are properly reviewed and approved where required.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling commercial, partner, or business information.
- Support internal reviews and audits relating to the rewards programme where required.
