Job Title: Affiliates Executive (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Competitive

Location: Hybrid working, with 3-4 visits to our Milton Keynes office per month and 1 day per month in our London office

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week (9:00am – 5:30pm)

Job Status: Fixed-Term-Contract

What you’ll be working on

  • Developing and pro-actively managing a portfolio of affiliate partners
  • Pro-actively acquire and retain new affiliates
  • Establishing and maintaining strong partner relationships
  • Negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements with all partners under their account management, supported by Head of Digital Marketing, liaising with Procurement, Legal and Data Protection/Infosec teams
  • Monitoring, analysing and optimising the performance of all campaigns vs. KPI’s.
  • Identifying new potential opportunities in the relevant product vertical
  • Budget Management and In-Month Pacing – Responsible for managing and using the affiliates budget efficiently, also in pacing that spend throughout the month by monitoring daily spend and adjusting partner CPAs where needed
  • Experience media planning, forecasting and budgeting to business KPIs.
  • Ability to lean in and support across other digital channels (i.e. Paid Social & Display)
  • Generating weekly/monthly business reporting and conducting financial reconciliation
  • Owning & developing the Affiliate strategy for cinch with Head of Digital support
  • Work with the Brand team to secure creative assets to support new campaigns/promotions
  • Work with Data Engineering/Product on technical setups with third parties.
  • Supporting the Head of Digital Marketing with ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders & making key recommendations regarding strategy
  • Conduct troubleshooting of issues mostly themselves and seek resolutions with appropriate teams, though blockers would be escalated to the Head of Digital

Things we’d love to see

  • Proven experience in an Affiliates role working on an ecommerce account (agency or in house)
  • Contract negotiation experience and other process led onboarding (legal teams, Data protection/infosec, etc)
  • Basic Affiliates network knowledge (platforms such as Awin, Webgains, CJ Affiliates)
  • Has some exposure to other reporting stacks such as Adobe/Power BI/GA etc.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets & in Microsoft Excel and able to use this data to analyse emerging trends and areas of opportunity
  • Excellent external stakeholder management (i.e. publisher networks, direct third-party advertising agreements)
  • A basic understanding of tracking technologies/techniques (tag based, server to server)
  • A data-driven mindset and the ability to strategize with cross-functional teams; strong cross-functional relationship management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and problem solve with some support
  • Strong presentation skills and able to converse with senior stakeholders and discuss data-related topics with ease and confidence
  • Analytical and can evaluate performance of affiliate activities and make decision and provide insight for the wider team
  • Excellent command of the English Language
  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
