Role Description

The After-Sales and Warranty Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Abingdon-On-Thames. This position is responsible for managing warranty claims, coordinating service interventions, and ensuring timely resolution of after-sales issues for commercial refrigeration systems. The specialist will respond to customer inquiries, diagnose issues with support from technical teams, and oversee the documentation and approval process for warranty cases. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records in service systems, preparing reports on after-sales performance, and following up with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with sales, engineering, and service teams to improve after-sales processes and support continuous product and service improvement.

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, explain warranty processes clearly, and build long-term relationships.
  • Experience in Sales and Sales Management to understand customer contracts, commercial terms, and support after-sales opportunities.
  • Ability to deliver Training to customers, service partners, or internal teams on warranty procedures and after-sales best practices.
  • Background in technical or service environments, ideally in refrigeration, HVAC, or related engineering fields.
  • Proficiency with CRM or service management systems and basic office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is beneficial.
