Salary: Grade F-Grade G £27,254-£31,022 per annum pro rata

Hours of work: Part time 14 hours per week

Contract: Permanent


A bit about us:

Kington St Michael CE Primary School is a small village school located just outside Chippenham. We are a popular school in an attractive rural setting, where expectations are high (Ofsted, Good - February 2025).


All about the role:

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic After School Club Leader to organise the day-to-day running of the After School Club. You will be responsible for providing care and supervision of children attending the club and the initiation of high quality play activities for children aged 4 to 11, in a safe and secure environment. Ideally you will have had some experience of working in a school or similar setting.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Lead in all aspects of the running of the club
  • Prepare and provide refreshments to children attending the club
  • Ensure that the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times
  • Is patient and understanding when working with children
  • Be self motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable
  • Administer basic first aid, training will be provided
  • Has a positive and flexible attitude
  • Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one)

Hours of work: 14 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday 3:10pm – 6.10pm and Fridays 3.10 – 5.10pm
