🌟 Club Manager – After School Club 📍 Location: Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire BA15 💷 Salary: £13.60 per hour ⏰ Hours: 13 hours 20 minutes per week (Term Time Only) 📅 Start Date: September 2026 🚀 Flexibility – Opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week in school holidays

Do you love working with children and want to turn your energy, creativity, and leadership skills into something truly meaningful? At Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Club Manager to lead our After School Club in Bradford-on-Avon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

You’ll be at the heart of the club, creating a safe, exciting, and enriching environment for children aged 4–11, where they can play, learn, and thrive through engaging activities.


Working Hours

  • After School Club: 15:20 – 18:00 (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only) Total contracted hours: 13 hours 20 minutes per week

  • Flexibility Opportunity: Work up to 40 hours per week during school holidays through our Holiday Club provision.


About the Role

As Club Manager, you’ll lead a small team to deliver exceptional wraparound care experiences for children after school. Your responsibilities include:

  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, school staff, and colleagues
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and activity delivery
  • Creating fun-filled after-school experiences, including:
    • Sports and games
    • Arts & crafts
    • Team challenges
    • Structured play

Your creativity and leadership will help make every week something children look forward to!

What You’ll Be Doing

✔ Leading activities: Sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play ✔ Planning engaging sessions: Inclusive, age-appropriate, and child-centred ✔ Team management: Supporting and motivating your team ✔ Relational-building: Parent, carer, school, and colleague relationships ✔ Safeguarding compliance: Ensuring policies and health & safety are followed ✔ Record-keeping and operations: Maintaining club admin duties ✔ Promoting confidence: Encouraging positive behaviour and independence in children ✔ Creating an inclusive culture: Making sure every child feels valued and supported

Preferred Qualifications/Experience: ✨ A Level 3 Childcare Qualification (desirable, but not essential—experience is highly valued) ✨ Experience in childcare, education, or playwork settings ✨ Experience in leading, supervising, or managing a team ✨ A passion for engaging children through activities
