Club Manager – After School Club

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) 📍 Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, BA15 💷 £14.00 per hour ⏰ 13 hours 20 minutes per week (Term Time Only, September 2026) 🔹 Flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week during school holidays

Are you passionate about working with children and turning creativity, leadership, and energy into meaningful change? Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Club Manager to lead our After School Club in Bradford-on-Avon.

This role offers the chance to build on leadership skills, grow as a manager, and create a thriving after-school experience for children aged 4–11. You’ll shape an environment where kids play, learn, and explore through sports, arts, games, and structured fun.


The Role

🕒 Working Hours: After School Club 15:20 – 18:00 (Mon–Fri, term-time only) 13 hours 20 minutes contracted per week—with optional extra hours during school holidays (up to 40 hours).

Balance work and life while delivering high-quality wraparound care, fostering creativity, and ensuring safe, engaging sessions for children.

Key Responsibilities

As Club Manager, you will: ✔ Lead & Inspire: Manage a small team to deliver engaging, nurturing wraparound care. ✔ Create a Memorable Space: Design a fun, inclusive environment with activities like:

  • Sports & games
  • Arts & crafts
  • Team challenges
  • Group play & learning ✔ Build Trusting Relationships: Connect with children, parents, carers, schools, & colleagues. ✔ Ensure Safety & Standards: Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies at all times. ✔ Plan & Adapt: Organise child-centred, age-appropriate sessions that keep kids excited about school. ✔ Team Success: Motivate & support your team, maintain records, and manage day-to-day club operations. ✔ Pave the Future: Foster independence, confidence, & positive behaviour in kids. ✔ Champion Inclusion: Ensure every child feels valued, heard, and empowered.

What’s even better? ✅ Childcare Qualification (Level 3 preferred, but credit given for strong leadership experience). ✅ Team leader or supervisor background. ✅ Experience with structured group work (e.g., sports coach, teaching assistant, playworker).

No formal qualifications? Still apply if you’ve got lightbulb moments in childcare leadership or equivalent passion.
