Aftermarket Sales Lead
Location: Malton
Role Overview
This role acts as the bridge between Aftermarket strategy and field execution. Drive sustainable growth of the Aftermarket Parts & Services business by steering sales execution, prioritizing actions, and enabling CSRs and PPSPs through clear direction, performance monitoring, and tool adoption. Support Precision Tech renewing activities. Ensure customer satisfaction, profitability, and operational efficiency across all dealership locations.
Essential Duties
Commercial Strategy & Priorities
- Translate Aftermarket strategy into clear sales priorities and action plans.
- Define focus areas for Parts & Service growth by location, segment, and season.
- Align priorities with Group Aftermarket / Parts Managers.
- Set clear global and individual targets.
Sales Execution & Performance Steering
- Identify growth opportunities in Parts and Service sales and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate and steer daily sales activities of CSRs and PPSPs.
- Enforce disciplined sales funnel execution through consistent use of CRM, PoPS, Highspot, and DBS.
- Reinforce standard sales routines and best practices.
- Monitor performance by location, product / portfolio / service line, sales activity, and effectiveness.

Customer & Dealer Engagement
- Promote proactive customer approaches and value-based selling.
- Ensure consistent experience along the Customer Success Journey.
- Act as a commercial point of reference for SA-KA customers.
Financial Performance & Reporting
- Monitor sales and margin performance using reporting tools.
- Analyze data to identify performance gaps and further growth opportunities.
- Support incentive discipline and escalate deviations when needed.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Parts Operations to align availability, forecast, and order execution.
- Align with Service Managers to anticipate labor demand and secure parts for upcoming work and proactively stimulate workshop activity during low workload periods.
- Coordinate with Sales / Equipment teams to drive install base and attachment / upgrade opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align campaigns, promotions, and customer targeting.
- Collaborate with MMS (Machine Monitoring Specialists) and the Precision Technology team to drive a seamless, high-quality customer success journey, with a strong in- and after-season focus.

Leadership & Talent Development
- Support onboarding, coaching, and continuous development of CSRs and PPSPs.
- Facilitate training sessions focused on proactive selling, tool usage, sales effectiveness.
- Foster a results-oriented, collaborative sales culture.
- Own and continuously develop his/her own capabilities and learning path.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, parts, and service operations.
- Deep knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of financial principles related to Aftermarket operations.
- Proficiency in using digital business tools such as Microsoft Office, DBS, ERP, CRM, and related sales systems.
- Ability to analyze internal reports to monitor performance and identify improvement and growth opportunities.
- Experience in team training and development.
