Summary
We are currently looking for a dependable and meticulous cleaner to uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards within a school facility under our supervision. This position is vital for creating a secure, sanitary, and inviting atmosphere for students, faculty, and guests. The successful applicant will exhibit pride in their work, showing consistency, professionalism, and a dedicated focus on maintaining superior cleaning standards. The role provides stable employment aligned with the academic term, offering flexible scheduling and attractive benefits such as pension contributions and paid leave.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect designated zones, encompassing restrooms, classrooms, administrative offices, and shared areas.
- Dust all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment on a regular basis.
- Utilize proper methods and tools to vacuum and mop flooring.
- Remove waste and recycling from bins, ensuring correct disposal and separation protocols are followed.
- Replenish cleaning materials, toiletries, and other necessary supplies as required.
- Promptly notify management of any maintenance concerns, safety risks, or equipment failures.
- Strictly comply with all safety guidelines, health regulations, and established cleaning procedures.
- Consistently demonstrate a professional, respectful, and courteous demeanor in all interactions.

Requirements
- Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning services is highly desirable.
- Physical endurance to handle manual labor, such as lifting and transporting heavy items.
- Keen attention to detail with a dedication to delivering high-quality, comprehensive work.
- Capability to operate autonomously with limited oversight.
- Strong communication abilities and a cooperative approach to teamwork.
- Willingness to adapt to scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the school term.
- Knowledge of cleaning agents, machinery, and industry best practices is considered a plus.

Benefits
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- SHIFTS BETWEEN 3PM TILL 7PM
- SOME SHIFTS 2 HOURS, SOME ARE 3.
- Term time only (39 weeks per year)
- DBS check desirable (we will process one for you if required)
- Nest Pension scheme available
- 28 days paid holiday
- Pro-rata monthly pay
