Position Overview

To support the fast-growing aftersales and spare parts business in the UK market, Chery UK is recruiting a Aftersales Commercial Specialist. This role covers core end-to-end responsibilities including spare parts pricing strategy, data-driven business target setting for both parts and accessories, and full-cycle accessories development and sales operation. The role focuses on improving overall business profitability, scaling accessories revenue and standardising commercial management processes for the UK aftersales team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Spare Parts Pricing Management

  • Develop and execute UK-specific spare parts pricing strategies in line with global Chery guidelines and local market conditions, balancing market competitiveness and profit margins.
  • Analyse part costs, logistics/tariff fees and competitor pricing; conduct regular price reviews for new, obsolete, fast and slow-moving parts to deliver differentiated, profitable pricing structures.
  • Standardise pricing workflows, resolve pricing exceptions and customer-related pricing issues to ensure stable and consistent regional pricing governance.

2. Spare Parts & Accessories Target Setting & Management

  • Build and implement data-driven target-setting logic for UK spare parts and accessories, covering monthly/quarterly/annual sales, revenue and profit KPIs.
  • Evaluate historical performance, vehicle parc, market trends and competitor activities to deliver realistic, growth-oriented business targets.
  • Monitor target achievement, analyse performance deviations, propose improvement actions and provide regular progress reports to the Aftersales Director.
  • Optimise KPI assessment frameworks to align team priorities and drive consistent business delivery.

3. Accessories Development & Sales Operation

  • Conduct UK market research to identify high-potential accessories tailored to local customer preferences and vehicle lineups, and lead new accessory introduction plans.
  • Coordinate with HQ R&D, procurement and supply chain teams to manage sample validation, product verification and mass supply for new accessories.
  • Design and execute accessories sales and promotion strategies to improve penetration rate, customer retention and profit contribution.
  • Market and promote accessories and locally sourced products, working cross-functionally with the Marketing team to develop campaigns, content and dealer-facing materials that drive awareness and sales.
  • Monitor accessories sales and inventory performance, optimise product portfolios and phase out low-performing items.
  • Support dealer channel accessory sales capability and replicate successful sales practices across the UK network.

  • Produce regular commercial reports covering pricing performance, target delivery and accessories operation to support data-based business decisions.
  • Share daily operational workload with the existing spare parts team to accommodate growing business scale and ensure efficient team output.
  • Track UK aftersales market and policy updates, and adjust commercial strategies accordingly.

Job Requirements

1. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive, Supply Chain or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in automotive aftersales, spare parts pricing or accessories business development; UK market experience is preferred.
  • Experience in supplier management, with strong commercial awareness when working with local suppliers, is preferred.

2. Professional Skills

  • Solid understanding of automotive spare parts and accessories business models and pricing mechanisms, with strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and PPT skills for independent report building, data modelling and performance analysis.
  • Commercial awareness of UK aftersales market dynamics and competitor strategies.
  • Fluent written and spoken English for cross-functional communication with HQ and local teams.

3. Personal Competencies

  • Strong data sensitivity, logical thinking and result-driven mindset.
  • Capable of independent delivery, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Effective cross-team coordination and communication skills with good teamwork spirit.
  • Familiarity with UK local consumer behaviour and market environment is advantageous.
