Position Summary

The Aftersales Consultant is responsible for delivering a professional aftersales and contract support service to the business, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment contracts and services. This role involves overseeing the coordination and management of spares service and refurbishment contracts, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The Aftersales Consultant will work closely with procurement, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain service excellence while upholding the company's core values.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and quotation requests, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Process customer orders, create job travellers, shipments and invoices within the ERP system (Epicor).
  • Coordinate procurement activities and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
  • Manage daily activities relating to spares, refurbishment and service contracts.
  • Oversee packing, dispatch and fulfilment of spare parts and equipment.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and support quality assurance processes prior to dispatch.
  • Prepare quotations and provide sales support for aftermarket products and services.
  • Maintain accurate customer, order and stock records while monitoring inventory levels and costs.
  • Support cross-functional working with Engineering, Design, Finance, Stores and Procurement teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Report quality issues, non-conformances, near misses and other incidents in line with company processes.
  • Contribute positively to company culture and uphold organisational values.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of order processing, procurement, logistics or service coordination.
  • Comfortable using ERP systems (Epicor experience desirable).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
