About the Role
The Miretti group has been a leader in the Explosion Proof Protection of industrial mobile equipment, engines, and mobile vehicles destined to operate in potentially explosive atmospheres since 1973. We are a global brand with branches in 15 countries and Miretti is currently expanding its UK operations with the recruitment of an Aftersales Engineer. Reporting to
UK Product Support Manager.
Job Description
This is a full-time salaried role for an Aftersales Engineer.
The candidate must be able to deliver engineering expertise and product support for the auditing, maintenance, repair, and warranty work of the Miretti group's range of products in the field and when required at the branch.

The role requires liaising with stakeholders to ensure customer, safety, and quality targets are met, and the correct procedures and safety standards are adhered to.
The work is varied, challenging, and rewarding.
Requirements for the role
- Located in Scotland
- Knowledge of the Explosion-proof field, desired but not essential. (Training will be given)
- Knowledge and experience in working with electrical schematics, electrical diagnosis, and fault finding.
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Level 3 qualification in a service-based mechanical/electrical engineering discipline – and/or references to confirm ability.
- Presentation and instructional skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated.
- Customer-centric with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Some knowledge/experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Driving licence.
- Willingness to travel UK and Ireland with overnight stays when required.
- Flexibility.

Compensation
- Salary: Competitive.
- 40 hours per week.
- Salary paid.
