We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Aftersales Manager to join our Stafford team and play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards and driving continued growth.

Role Overview

The Aftersales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the aftersales operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and maximising revenue opportunities. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire a talented team, manage day-to-day activities efficiently, and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the aftersales team, including service advisors, technicians, and parts staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Develop and implement aftersales strategies to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyse aftersales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively to enhance loyalty.
  • Oversee the management of parts inventory, ensuring availability while controlling costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales and finance, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on aftersales performance and customer feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in an aftersales management role within the automotive sector, ideally in a dealership environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of automotive service and parts operations.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant computer systems and software used in aftersales management.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Full UK driving licence.
