Role Description

The Aftersales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at our Slough location, responsible for overseeing the service, parts, and bodyshop operations to deliver a high-quality customer experience. This role involves managing the daily workflow of the aftersales department, ensuring efficient scheduling, timely completion of jobs, and adherence to manufacturer and company standards. The Aftersales Manager will lead, motivate, and support the service and parts teams, monitor performance against targets, and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and profitability.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Handling escalated customer queries
  • Reviewing performance reports
  • Managing warranties and goodwill gestures

The role also includes responsibility for compliance with health and safety, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Strong Aftersales experience in the automotive sector, with the ability to manage service, parts, and repair operations effectively.
  • Proven focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with skills in handling queries, resolving issues, and building long-term relationships.
  • Sales and upselling skills, including identifying opportunities for additional products and services while maintaining customer trust.
  • Analytical skills to interpret performance data, monitor KPIs, and make informed decisions to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Experience leading and developing teams, with strong people-management, coaching, and communication abilities.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of automotive service processes, manufacturer standards, and warranty procedures; dealership system experience is advantageous.
  • Relevant management or technical qualifications in automotive, business, or a related field are beneficial.
