Aftersales Tele Sales Manager
Place: Malton
Role overview
Lead and develop the tele sales function to drive parts, service, and allied product sales across the customer base. Delivering profitable growth through proactive customer engagement, effective campaign management, and strong team leadership, while ensuring excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement the tele sales strategy aligned with the wider Aftermarket business objectives.
- Establish annual sales targets, activity measures, and growth plans.
- Work closely with Parts, Service, Marketing, and Sales teams to identify opportunities and coordinate campaigns.
Sales & Customer Development
- Drive proactive outbound customer contact programmes to increase parts and service sales.
- Develop customer segmentation and calling strategies based on customer potential and business objectives.
- Monitor tele sales performance through call activity, conversion rates, sales growth, and gross profit.
- Ensure customer opportunities are identified, qualified, and managed effectively.

Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Recruit, coach, develop, and motivate the tele sales team.
- Set clear performance expectations and monitor KPIs.
- Conduct regular one-to-one reviews and performance discussions.
- Promote a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong customer relationships through regular engagement.
- Ensure that CRM and customer records are maintained accurately.
- Work alongside Territory Sales Managers and Aftersales teams to maximize customer retention and loyalty.
Reporting & Financial Management
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and profitability.
- Produce regular reports on performance against targets and business objectives.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage departmental costs in line with agreed budgets.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in sales, customer service, or tele sales management.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and dealer management systems.
- Ability to analyze performance data and implement improvement plans.
- Knowledge of agricultural, turf, construction, or machinery industries is desirable.
