Working Pattern

Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

What this role is all about

We're looking for an Agency & Commissions Assistant to join Vitality's Agency & Commissions team within the Operations and Growth, Retention & Adviser Service division. This role plays an important part in supporting Business Consultants, Brokers and Intermediaries through the delivery of accurate, efficient and professional service across agency administration, commissions and payment enquiries. Based in Bournemouth on a hybrid basis, the position offers the opportunity to develop expertise within a fast-paced financial services environment while contributing to the high service standards Vitality is known for.

Key Actions

  • Provide professional and efficient telephone and email support to Business Consultants, Brokers and Intermediaries
  • Manage inbound enquiries, delivering accurate information and resolving queries to a high standard
  • Investigate and respond to commission and payment queries across a range of financial services products
  • Maintain and update agency system records, ensuring all data amendments are processed accurately and promptly
  • Register advisers and panels to franchise arrangements in line with established procedures and controls
  • Complete allocated work items efficiently while maintaining quality, accuracy and service level expectations
  • Handle sensitive customer and adviser information in accordance with data protection requirements
  • Identify, investigate and resolve issues while ensuring appropriate escalation where required
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the wider Agency & Commissions function through collaborative team support
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, operational and call quality standards across all interactions

What do you need to thrive?

  • Previous telephony experience, ideally within financial services
  • Experience communicating professionally with external third parties by phone and email
  • Understanding of the importance of data protection and handling sensitive information
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills
  • Positive and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to manage challenging conversations effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing to team success
  • Analytical approach to problem solving and investigating queries
  • GCSEs including Mathematics and English
