Employment Type: Freelance (Mid-Weight Level)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Marketing Account Manager to support a busy agency environment in London. This is a mid-weight level role, ideal for someone who can confidently manage client relationships, oversee integrated marketing campaigns, and work independently across multiple accounts.

You will act as the key point of contact between clients and internal delivery teams, ensuring smooth campaign execution, strong communication, and high-quality output across all marketing channels.

This role requires someone proactive, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned client accounts
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, content, paid media, and brand channels
  • Translate client objectives into clear campaign briefs and actionable deliverables
  • Work closely with internal teams including Creative, Strategy, Media, and Production
  • Take ownership of project timelines, scopes, and campaign delivery
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insight-led reporting and optimisation recommendations
  • Run client status calls, presentations, and performance reviews
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts and improve campaign performance
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and CRM updates
  • Support senior team members with strategic planning where required

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in marketing account management within an agency or fast-paced marketing environment
  • Strong ability to independently manage multiple client accounts and campaigns
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels including paid media, social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and email marketing
  • Confident client-facing communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail

This is a mid-weight freelance position, suited to someone who:
