Strettons
Strettons is London’s largest independent multi-disciplinary property consultancy. Founded in 1931, Strettons’ roots are in London’s East End, and it now operates throughout London and the UK. Strettons is based in a well-connected central London HQ in Shoreditch, with its 120+ experts working together in an environment designed to drive connection and collaboration. Strettons has ambitious growth plans and is looking for a confident and creative marketing professional to support its commercial agency department.
The role is ideally 5 days per week, with 4 as a minimum (Mon – Thurs). The role is office-based Mon – Thurs with the option for remote working on Friday.
Objectives of Role
Property marketing: Support agency teams in promoting sales and letting opportunities to potential investors and occupiers
Client marketing: attracting new client instructions for property disposals, acquisitions and consultancy services.
It is important to note that property marketing is as much about attracting new instructions as selling or letting a property. By showcasing the instructions that Strettons is working on we attract similar work from other clients.
Line Management, Reporting and Time Allocation
Line Manager
Overall supervision and guidance in the role is provided by the Head of Marketing and Business Development, to ensure integration and alignment with the company-wide marketing strategy and to support the post holder in working with agency team heads.

Day-to-day reporting
This role supports four agency teams. The head of each team will agree and oversee with the post holder a realistic and mutually agreed worklist and timetable of deliverables for their team, on the basis of an average of 1 day per week for each team. If working 5 days per week, the additional time will be dedicated to cross-sectoral agency marketing.

- Retail, Leisure & Hotel Agency – Chris Collins (dedicated half day Weds am with the remainder of the week’s time to be allocated flexibly, ensuring the equitable distribution of time and effort across teams.)
- Industrial Agency – Chris Wade
- Development Land Agency – Aasia Pathan
Essential Aptitudes
- Creative, delivering compelling visual and written content.
- Outgoing and enthusiastic, with the confidence to give clear direction to teams on content creation.
- The ability to ‘manage upwards’ to ensure effective direction and input is received to be able to deliver marketing activities aligned to team goals on schedule.
- The ability to manage the realistic expectations of multiple stakeholders while maintaining positive and productive relationships.
- Reliable and organised, with the ability to self-manage workload and priorities with excellent attention to detail.
- A high level of digital agility, with the ability to rapidly learn and use multiple systems including social media management, CRMs, email marketing, property portals, website CMS, a SharePoint intranet and relatively advance use of MS PowerPoint templates.
- A commercially astute critical thinker: able to absorb information quickly, understand property industry market dynamics and proactively recommend marketing approaches that improve business performance.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive list of live instructions, working with the teams to identify those that require extra marketing support
- Recommend and deliver marketing communications across social, web, email marketing, PR, direct mail flyers and events
- Develop creative property and client marketing content ideas that build the Strettons brand and the profiles of individual agents. This will include promotion of live instructions, deal announcements, success case studies, recent transaction updates, market insights and reports, policy updates and expert commentary, local area overviews, educational blogs / posts.
- Create and maintain a marketing dashboard to ensure each team’s weekly output and results are aligned with and contributing to longer-term department-wide strategy.
- Support the teams in managing client and applicant data and lists to enable the effective targeting of email marketing.
- Use LinkedIn premium features and leverage the accounts of individual agents to build following and drive engagement.
- Monitor competitor agencies’ social content and ensure a stand-out presence for Strettons
