⏰ 47.5 hours per week (9.5 hours per day)

Our client is seeking an experienced Agent to join a major water infrastructure project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with strong civil engineering experience to lead site operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure the safe and successful delivery of complex works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate site activities, supply chain partners, and subcontractors.
  • Organise and control systems of work within your allocated discipline.
  • Develop project programmes and forecast budgets in collaboration with the Senior Agent.
  • Monitor productivity and programme performance, producing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Manage contract obligations, measurements, and commercial aspects alongside the commercial team.
  • Ensure resources are procured and available to support programme delivery.
  • Produce and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
  • Lead quality assurance activities and oversee project handover.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate risks, opportunities, change events, and early warnings.
  • Maintain accurate project records, site diaries, and resource tracking.
  • Lead and promote the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing on site.
  • Mentor and support engineers and junior site staff, driving performance and development.

Essential Requirements

  • βœ… EUSR National Water Hygiene Card (mandatory)
  • βœ… Civil Engineering qualification
  • βœ… SMSTS certification
  • βœ… Relevant CSCS Card
  • βœ… CPCS Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)
  • βœ… Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methodologies
  • βœ… Knowledge of construction contracts and contract law
  • βœ… Full UK Driving Licence
  • βœ… Excellent communication and leadership skills
