Agentic AI Engineer – 12-Month Contract

Location: London – Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Rate: Up to £650 per day – All-In
Contract: 12 months
Start: ASAP

I'm looking for an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to join a major technology programme in London.
This is a highly hands-on position for someone who has designed and implemented Agentic AI solutions, particularly within software development and engineering environments.

What we're looking for

  • Strong background in Software Engineering, SDET, Quality Engineering, Data Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering
  • Hands-on Agentic AI experience using GitHub Copilot and/or Databricks Genie
  • Experience building multi-step AI workflows across development, code review, testing and defect resolution
  • Strong knowledge of automated testing and shift-left quality
  • Excellent coding, Git, pull request and CI/CD experience
  • Ability to turn business problems into practical technical solutions with appropriate controls and measurable outcomes

  • How the solution was made reusable and scalable
