Whether it's helping customers build and maintain infrastructure, design and construct buildings, optimize global supply chains or map the world, Trimble is at the forefront, driving productivity and progress.
What Makes This Role Great
The AI Agentic Manager is a true hands-on manager. Embedded directly inside a pod, you serve as the pod's Lead Product Builder, hands-on-keyboard, protecting the pod's architecture, and directing the team's use of agentic AI across the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), while also carrying the full people-leadership responsibilities of an Engineering Manager. You are simultaneously the technical backstop the pod relies on day-to-day and the people leader who develops, supports, and advocates for each pod member's career, workload, and well-being.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Pod Technical Leadership (Lead Product Builder duties)
- Shared Infrastructure Ownership: Build and maintain the shared repositories, CI/CD pipelines, evaluation tooling, and data access standards that keep the pod moving fast without breaking things.
- Architectural Guardrails: Act as the human backstop for code quality, system security, and maintainability. Ensure that AI-generated code scales sustainably and doesn’t accumulate crippling technical debt.
- Prototype to production: Take prototypes produced with agents and lead your pod in transforming them to production-quality features and capabilities: error handling, test coverage, observability, security review, and fit with the pod's existing architecture.
- Hands-On Direction: Actively direct the pod's use of AI coding agents: orchestrating agent workflows, reviewing agent output, and maintaining prompt libraries and evaluation datasets with a “trust but verify” mindset.
- Cross-Functional Advocacy: Bridge the gap between the pod and external teams (e.g., central Data/Analytics platforms, Security, legal/compliance) across the regions your pod supports.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
