Agentic AI / GenAI Consultant | From PoC to Production
Location: London | Manchester | Glasgow
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

An established transformation consultancy is expanding its AI engineering capability and looking for people who can turn emerging technology into secure, production-ready solutions. This is an opportunity to work directly with clients, translating complex business challenges into applications that combine traditional machine learning, Generative AI and agentic workflows. You’ll work across the full application lifecycle, from early prototypes and MVPs through to testing, deployment and scaling, while collaborating closely with data scientists, cloud architects, product managers and business consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and building full-stack GenAI and agentic applications
- Creating agentic workflows with human-in-the-loop controls, auditability, policy safeguards and robust evaluation
- Building intuitive AI product experiences, including streaming responses, review loops, citations, long-running tasks and error recovery
- Developing APIs, backend services and modern frontend components
- Implementing RAG pipelines, LLM integrations and multi-agent solutions
- Deploying secure and scalable applications across Azure or GCP
- Working with technical and non-technical client sponsors to shape requirements and demonstrate business value
- Supporting demonstrations, proposals, bids and the development of new AI offerings

Experience Required
- Building robust AI services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, Django or Flask, supported by strong SQL
- Create engaging, responsive AI products using TypeScript, JavaScript, React and Next.js
- Ground LLM applications in trusted business data through RAG, MCP and model integration
- Design multi-agent solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents or Google ADK
- Take applications safely into production using Azure OpenAI or Vertex AI, Docker, CI/CD, automated testing and clean software-engineering practices

You don’t need experience with every technology listed. What matters is a strong software-engineering foundation, hands-on AI delivery experience and the confidence to work with clients from initial idea through to production.
Previous consulting experience or comparable success delivering client-facing solutions within a complex organisation is important.
