Agentic Software Engineer

The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a global organisation to hire an Agentic Software Engineer — a role at the forefront of how modern engineering teams operate.

This isn’t traditional software development. You won’t be writing most of the code yourself. Instead, you’ll design, direct, and optimise AI agents that do.

If you’re already working this way — or pushing hard in that direction — this is a chance to take it further in a high-impact, real-world environment.

As the Agentic Software Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Designing AI-driven engineering workflows where agents handle implementation end-to-end
  • Building systems that allow agents to run autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Creating robust validation frameworks so you can trust output without manual review
  • Enabling multiple agents to work in parallel across complex systems
  • Driving automation across the full development lifecycle (planning → deployment → monitoring)
  • Collaborating directly with stakeholders to rapidly turn ideas into production-ready solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
